Job Description

Vinted's Finance team seeks a Tax Accountant to aid in ensuring tax compliance across multiple countries including Poland UK Netherlands Germany Lithuania France US and Canada. This role involves compiling analysing and summarising accounting data for consultants preparing foreign VAT/GST and US Sales Tax returns. The accountant will collaborate with external consultants regarding VAT/GST and US Sales Tax compliance and utilize accounting software to ensure indirect tax compliance for foreign entities. This position is integral to maintaining accurate tax-related accounts assisting in month-close procedures and managing foreign indirect tax registrations supporting the company's operational and sustainable growth goals.

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess a higher degree in accounting or equivalent field with at least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or tax. A strong understanding of tax treatment under current tax laws is crucial specifically in relation to VAT and corporate income tax. Advanced MS Excel skills are required while familiarity with EU VAT or US sales tax is a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail possess excellent communication skills in English and exhibit curiosity for adapting in a dynamic workplace environment.
