Job Description

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale a Kubernetes infrastructure that consists of more than ~1200 physical servers in 4 data centers and multiple regions. As part of the Production Engineering team, you will work on developing and maintaining on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure. This presents great opportunities to grow as a professional and take on new responsibilities. In this position, you’ll build maintain improve and scale our Kubernetes platform which supports over 40K running pods while writing code to automate manual processes and assisting Vinted engineers in developing performance secure and scalable applications. You will identify opportunities for improvement in the infrastructure and build solutions to implement them while monitoring and debugging problems in production to meet established SLOs and collaborating with the team on other infrastructure projects.

Job Requirements

You should have experience with Kubernetes and possess good knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking. You will need programming experience preferably with Go and Ruby languages. A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master concepts and technologies utilized is essential. Your interest should lie in building non-standard reliable and scalable solutions on our own on-premises infrastructure. You should also be prepared to participate in an on-call rotation within the team around every 6th week.
