Job Description

In this role you will join the DEPO (Development Environments and Portal) team part of the Engineering Experience domain which works to continuously improve the development experience of all Vinted’s engineers. You will work on the Developer Portal a suite of tools enabling developers to create and maintain services and applications while ensuring adherence to high standards. Together with highly experienced backend developers you will shape this tool into a vital resource for Vinted developers. Your efforts will focus on building and enhancing developer tooling collaborating closely with backend engineers while setting the direction and vision for the Developer Portal tool. You will influence frontend solutions and partner with leadership to develop roadmaps for new initiatives thus enhancing the developer experience and impacting Vinted’s engineering team directly.

Job Requirements

You should have a strong understanding of the latest web technologies and standards alongside a solid grasp of best UX practices. We seek proactive individuals who have a sense of ownership and are passionate about solving complex problems. You should possess proficiency in diverse disciplines with deep expertise in Software Engineering Functional Programming Data Structures Algorithms and Computer Science. Mentoring others while thriving in complex environments is expected along with excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration across teams. Strong organizational skills for task management and experience in UI/UX design is a plus. You should be capable of working independently while recognizing the need for collaboration to ensure project success.
