Job Description

As a Senior ESG Controller at Vinted you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with CSRD requirements while working within the Group Finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Reporting Manager you will collaborate closely with the Sustainability team and stakeholders across the organization. Your role involves monitoring regulatory requirements and disclosing practices while benchmarking against industry standards to improve ESG reporting. You will prepare and implement a robust reporting framework to meet compliance obligations and manage CSRD-related reporting in the annual financial cycle. Your influence will extend to overseeing ESG reports for investors and coordinating with auditors to ensure the integrity and accuracy of your work. This position is crucial for promoting sustainable operations and supports the company's growth trajectory within the rapidly evolving financial landscape.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ESG reporting or financial reporting with a background in finance accounting or sustainability. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required coupled with a strong understanding of ESG regulations particularly the CSRD. You must demonstrate excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams while ensuring timely completion of tasks. Attention to detail is critical as you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of reports and data. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with various stakeholders and communicating complex concepts clearly to management and external audiences in both verbal and written English.
