Job Description

As a backend engineer at Vinted you will work in cross-functional Product Engineering teams that include mobile platform engineers and web engineers alongside other backend engineers. Your responsibilities will encompass writing APIs that mobile and web platforms utilize while also implementing business logic and enhancing our backend platform to manage greater loads. This specific role focuses on the Transactional Experience domain aimed at providing seamless transactions for users post-order. You will focus on improving the pricing and discounts experience ensuring the platform exceeds user expectations and delivers maximum value. You will strive to design solutions that resonate deeply with users thus igniting positive changes and loyalty among them. Job Requirements

Candidates should possess experience in designing and implementing RESTful services and have knowledge in architecting robust APIs to ensure seamless user experiences. Familiarity with Go and a willingness to deepen your knowledge of it is essential as you will utilize this language for scalable backend systems. You should be amiable to learning new technologies and should not shy away from addressing Ruby when necessary. A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement is expected along with a solid understanding of Software Engineering principles and architectural patterns. Teamwork skills are imperative as you will partake in constructive discussions while respecting differing viewpoints helping to enhance the overall functionality and effectiveness of the team.
