Job Description

Vinted backend engineers operate within cross-functional Product Engineering teams that encompass diverse skill sets essential for delivering new features independently. In this position your focus will be on enhancing the transactional experience for users post-order. You'll craft elegant code on significant projects contributing to the growth of our backend platform, essential for managing business logic and APIs utilized by mobile and web platforms. As a part of the Transactional Experience domain your primary objective will be to enhance pricing and discount experiences aiming to surpass user expectations while adding substantial value. You will help shape solutions that resonate deeply with our community fostering lasting loyalty as we advance Vinted's mission of prioritizing second-hand as the first-choice shopping experience.

Job Requirements

We seek individuals experienced in designing and implementing RESTful services with a capability to architect robust APIs ensuring seamless user experiences. Candidates should be enthusiastic about Go programming as well as possessing a willingness to learn new technologies. You should be a proactive contributor adept at identifying and advocating for improvements within the team. Familiarity with Software Engineering concepts such as Distributed Systems and microservices is essential. Moreover you must possess collaborative skills to manage constructive discussions while maintaining professional respect. Previous experience with enterprise architecture patterns is preferable along with a readiness to engage with various systems and technologies as part of this dynamic role.
