Job Description

As our new iOS Staff Engineer you will be part of the Technologies domain which focuses on delivering the Marketplace technical strategy. You will work alongside Web Backend Android and QA Staff engineers within the Technologies domain where you will have the opportunity to own shape and guide the technical direction of the iOS platform. You will be responsible for owning the technical vision and strategy initiative roadmap while also setting the standards for resilience and performance in our iOS platform. This role will include providing technical leadership driving innovations across the Vinted Marketplace and mentoring others in the iOS community while ensuring effective communication with various teams.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this position you should have prior experience as an architect or tech lead with a proven track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives. Strong expertise in designing and implementing effective strategies is necessary along with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly across departments. You should enjoy nurturing the growth of others by setting a positive example and have extensive knowledge of the software lifecycle at scale from development to maintenance. A willingness to learn and master new technologies along with a collaborative mindset is essential to thrive in this role.
