Job Description

As our new iOS Staff Engineer you will be part of the Technologies domain which is focused on setting and delivering the Marketplace technical strategy. You will work alongside Web Backend Android and QA Staff engineers where you will have the opportunity to own shape and guide the technical direction of the iOS platform. The role involves owning the technical vision for iOS setting the standards for resilience and performance providing technical leadership and driving innovations in iOS across the Vinted Marketplace and Technologies domain. You will manage project priorities deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise and mentor engineers within the iOS community guiding them as a trusted advisor while fostering a positive team environment.

Job Requirements

You should have prior experience as an architect or tech lead leading cross-team technical initiatives and a proven expertise in designing and implementing effective strategies. A skilled communicator capable of discussing complex topics in detail you should enjoy helping others grow while possessing extensive experience in the software lifecycle at scale from development to maintenance. You must be eager to learn and master new technologies and you should be able to mentor and coach engineers both within and outside your team to ensure continuous improvement in practice and performance.
