The domain you are applying into is Trust and Safety. We are here to protect our members from harm including bad users and harmful content ensuring a secure use of Vinted as a platform. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a Product Engineering team that monitors the quality of items uploaded preventing any harmful ones from slipping through. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring technical excellence overseeing the codebase leading people and managing delivery ensuring your team supports our vision to make second-hand fashion the first choice. This role is dynamic and challenging centered around the core values of team collaboration and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

You are expected to have proven experience leading a software engineering team delivering results effectively managing scopes and deliverables while building and hiring new team members. Strong people management skills are essential as is proficiency in communicating effectively with both technical teams and management. This flexibility in adapting to changing priorities coupled with excellent communication skills in spoken and written English will be critical to your success. You will play a crucial role in shaping a cohesive team that values trust and accountability focused on delivering results enhancing our platform’s safety and functionality.
