Job Description

We’re seeking an Engineering Manager to join and lead the iOS Technologies team in the Marketplace Technologies domain. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure your team's health morale and efficiency while contributing to our mission of making second-hand the first choice worldwide. You will lead a team of around 4-5 engineers driving their direction and delivery collaborating closely with leadership to execute on the iOS platform strategy for Marketplace. You will also be responsible for applying Agile and Lean principles ensuring that your team operates effectively while fostering both professional and personal growth through performance reviews. This position is critical in delivering quality engineering results and managing processes and procedures within the team to create a harmonious work environment.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading a software engineering team while ensuring results and developing team members. Strong people management skills are essential along with a technical background and experience as an engineer. You should possess adept project management experience particularly in delivering cross-department initiatives while being comfortable with uncertainty. Skills in managing stakeholders scope priorities and deliverables are crucial along with the ability to address conflicts and make tough decisions. You should be a collaborative visionary who can inspire your team build high-performing self-organized teams and communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
