Job Description

Vinted’s Marketplace Trust & Safety domain product team is seeking a Data Engineer to enhance the Detection platform with streaming capabilities. Your role will involve building and refining this platform to safeguard the Vinted community from harmful activities and content. As part of a committed team, you will contribute to proactive measures against dangerous or inappropriate behaviors by leveraging technology to improve detection processes. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in professional software development with experience in Java or other JVM languages. You should have a solid foundation in agile, DevOps, and automation practices, including testing, build, and CI/CD processes. Familiarity with data streaming frameworks like Flink or Kafka is essential, along with a good grasp of infrastructure elements such as compute and storage. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in English communication are crucial. While not mandatory, familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
