Role:

Job Description

Monitor policy and legislative changes case law developments regulators’ guidelines and interpretations across different Nord Security’s jurisdictions. Lead the implementation of data protection rules into daily business operations. Significantly contribute to processes for data mapping records of processing handling of data subjects’ rights personal data breach management privacy by design and DPIA TIA FRIA supplier management & DPA awareness raising and training campaigns. Assist in handling data subjects’ rights requests provide privacy legal advice in investigation of data breaches. Support internal stakeholders with tailored and practical legal advice on data protection including compliance with the GDPR privacy and AI laws of other jurisdictions across the full range of Nord Security’s products.

Job Requirements

To have a master’s degree in law (LL.M.). To have 4+ years of hands-on legal experience working on data protection and privacy legal issues as an in-house counsel or in a law firm (experience with the tech sector would be an advantage). To have in-depth knowledge and keen demonstrated interest in data protection cybersecurity tech sector legal framework and policy matters. To be highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and business-mindedness. To be able to organize prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic fast-paced environment. To have experience working in diverse and international environments. To have excellent written and oral communication skills. To be fluent in verbal and written English. Experience in acting as a Data Protection Officer would be an advantage.
