Job Description

Data Strategy and Governance Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing financial and reporting data across the organization. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for financial and reporting data. Define and enforce data governance policies including data security quality and access protocols. Data Management and Quality Oversee the collection storage and maintenance of financial and reporting data. Ensure the accuracy consistency and completeness of financial and reporting data through rigorous quality control measures. Implement systems for data cleansing validation and reconciliation. Systems and Technology Manage financial and reporting data platforms including data integrations from various sources and tools. Lead the selection implementation and integration of financial data technologies. Team Leadership and Collaboration Lead and mentor a team of financial data analysts. Foster collaboration between finance data and other departments (e.g. marketing product) to align data initiatives with business objectives. Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role within Finance and Data preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical expertise in Data Warehousing technologies including BigQuery and proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Looker. Experience with advanced data technologies such as AI machine learning and big data analytics. At least basic knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g. GAAP IFRS SOX compliance). Leadership and project management skills to oversee cross-functional initiatives.
