The Head of Materials and Logistics ensures the efficient management of materials and logistics activities to support aircraft maintenance and operations. This role involves overseeing procurement storage distribution and disposal of materials while managing logistics operations to guarantee that the necessary parts and equipment are available to maintain aircraft safety compliance and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing procurement by collaborating with engineering departments ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing managing inventory levels coordinating logistics and supplier management to establish favorable terms and maintain compliance with aviation regulations. The position also involves developing and managing the logistics budget monitoring costs for process improvements leading a team of professionals and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in procurement or logistics fluent English skills proficiency in Microsoft Office strong analytical and communication skills being a cooperative team player and flexibility regarding business travel and work hours.
