Job Description

Currently we are looking for a Senior Lawyer in the Distribution Law team within the Energy Law functional area who will contribute to achieving the common goals of the function functional area and Ignitis group help ensure and be responsible for the formation of best practices for European Union and Lithuanian legislative processes and renewable energy law. You will contribute to the development of a green and safe energy ecosystem by: proactively participating in European Union and Lithuanian legislative processes and their implementation ensuring the representation of the interests of Group companies at the level of Lithuanian and EU institutions; advising on energy law and the legal aspects of connecting energy facilities to the distribution network; preparing non-standard legal documents legal analyses contracts and legislative drafts in the areas you oversee; organizing and implementing the resolution of legal issues in complex business projects; solving non-standard complex and intricate problems using unconventional solutions; helping to identify and manage not only legal but also business and operational continuity risks; and communicating with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders on legal matters.
