Job Description

As a Safety Specialist at Amber Grid in Vilnius you will develop and oversee innovative safety procedures working closely with the safety team to enhance employee safety and health practices ensuring legal compliance and promoting a culture of safety. You will identify and implement legal requirements related to workplace safety fire safety and civil safety preparing internal procedures to facilitate compliance. Additionally you will help ensure fire safety by contributing to the development of fire safety protocols minimizing fire risks and enhancing employee preparedness. Your role will involve participation in strategic projects ensuring safety obligations are met and controlling compliance among contractors. Moreover you will facilitate training programs to enhance employee awareness on safety fire safety and civil safety matters.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position you need a higher education degree or equivalent in the fields of energy engineering or safety. A minimum of two years of work experience in employee safety fire safety or civil safety is essential along with knowledge and experience in applying Lithuanian laws and regulations on occupational safety and health. Proficiency in MS Office suite is required alongside strong representation and advocacy skills. You should possess excellent Lithuanian and good English language skills coupled with analytical thinking and responsibility. An initiative-driven attitude goal orientation and the ability to manage and synthesize information are key attributes.
