As the Purchasing Department Head at Amber Grid you will ensure the implementation of EPSO-G purchasing policies and contribute to their improvement. You will guarantee effective and quality procurement services for the company's needs and organize transparent public procurement processes compliant with regulations and best practices. Your responsibilities will include planning department activities setting short and long-term goals and conducting performance analysis. You will also work closely with related departments to assess needs provide consultation and communicate with suppliers while aiming to build an engaged team in your department.
Job Requirements
You should hold a higher university degree preferably in management law economics or finance and possess excellent knowledge of public procurement regulations and experience in this field. Leadership experience in large organizations is advantageous as is possession of a public procurement specialist certificate. Your skills should include team building and motivation strong command of English negotiation skills and experience with development implementation of changes and process management. Additionally strategic thinking the ability to make quick decisions result orientation and impeccable reputation as outlined in public procurement regulations are required.
