Job Description

As a Gas Technician at Amber Grid you will perform operation and maintenance tasks for gas pumping installations and pipeline systems ensuring their effective functionality. You will be responsible for technical maintenance measurements fault diagnostics and repairs of the equipment. Additionally you will manage the operation of gas pumping aggregation including their adjustment during work start-up and shut down while recording the operating parameters. The work also involves overseeing the technical maintenance and repair of gas distribution station facilities as well as managing mobile gas pumping compressor maintenance including start-up adjustments and repairs. In this role your contributions will be pivotal in transforming energy infrastructure to meet renewable energy targets as we undergo significant changes following our new strategic goals.

Job Requirements

To excel as a Gas Technician you should possess a secondary education with a preference for vocational training in industrial equipment or engine repair. Proficient skills in essential MS Office programs are required alongside a readiness to embrace innovation and result-oriented work. Your character traits should include initiative responsibility and the ability to work independently. A B driver’s license is necessary. Candidates should be adept at working cohesively in a dynamic team while having the passion to contribute actively to the nation's energy framework and strategic project implementation efforts at Amber Grid.
