Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist at EPSO-G you will monitor security tasks using Microsoft Sentinel to create and apply monitoring rules alerts and reports that enable prompt threat detection. You will maintain configurations of Microsoft Defender products ensuring ongoing security protection while regularly checking logs analyzing deviations or attempts to breach security. You will identify and respond to incidents performing initial assessments initiating rapid actions to prevent greater harm and applying established incident response processes. Your collaboration will involve providing guidance to organization staff on identifying threats and ensuring compliance with security requirements through regular audits and checks. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding Lithuania's energy independence by being part of a team dedicated to secure operations.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess higher education in IT cybersecurity or a related field or equivalent practical experience. You must have strong knowledge of key cybersecurity principles and best practices particularly in incident management. Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM tools is essential along with proficiency in working with Microsoft Defender family products. You should also have experience investigating cyber incidents with the ability to quickly identify sources and propose effective solutions. Proficiency in English at B2 level and strong analytical problem-solving skills along with attention to detail and responsibility are required.
