Job Description

Currently inviting applications for the role of Balance Dispatcher within the System Management Center in Vilnius. The position involves training at the workplace in the beginning problem-solving in emergency situations and duplicating operations of a staff member for certification towards independent work. Responsibilities include operational management of the frequency balance and all types of power reserves in the Lithuanian electricity system high-voltage direct current (HVDC) energy transfer management and operation of generation from renewable energy sources. Additionally the role includes managing operational balance planning processes collaborating with electricity generation operators and with transmission system operators from European countries while maintaining operational documentation and preparing operational reports while working a rolling schedule with 12-hour shifts.

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess higher education in electrical engineering or fundamental sciences and may be graduates or master’s students. Preferred experiences include work in the electricity sector or data analysis. Strong English language skills analytical thinking organizational skills initiative attention to detail and good communication skills are essential along with a category B driving license.
