Job Description

As an Automation Technician at Amber Grid you will carry out the operational tasks of gas pumping technological equipment and major pipeline systems maintaining technical documentation ensuring all machinery functions properly. Your work will involve managing control systems specifically for compressor aggregates and undertaking tasks related to the calibration and testing of measurement tools. You will also be responsible for operating equipment for major pipelines and energy production systems contributing significantly to the efficiency and safety of operations. This role comes with transport provided from Vilnius to the work location in Jauniūnų Gas Compressor Station.

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess a professional engineering degree in automation electronics telecommunications or related fields and hold an electrical safety certificate. Proficiency in MS Office and drafting software is required along with a valid category B driving license. Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to engage with new technologies are essential. Previous experience in the maintenance of automation control systems and familiarity with the energy engineering sector would be advantageous but not mandatory. Additionally knowledge of programming logic controllers is a plus.
