Job Description

As part of Amber Grid the Gas Transmission System Operator in Lithuania you will manage the accounting of fixed assets and unfinished construction projects monitor grants and accounting related to fixed assets by projects and funding sources oversee the accounting of assets held under usage rights calculate and declare property taxes and land rent engage in the annual financial report auditing process according to your domain of accounting and stay updated on other accounting fields adapting and implementing best practices for process optimization and automation while contributing to the development of the Lithuanian energy sector in a supportive team environment.

Job Requirements

Candidates should hold higher education in accounting or finance have work experience in accounting and tax demonstrate knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations have the ability to advise on accounting and tax matters possess advanced skills in MS Excel exhibit logical and analytical thinking be inquisitive responsible and meticulous be capable of making independent decisions and possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team contextPreferably candidates with experience in fixed asset accounting infrastructure or energy companies auditing firms or large enterprises and familiarity with high-volume data streams and Scala software will be favored.
