Job Description

As a Systems Accounting Manager at Canonical you will lead the revenue recognition process using your expertise in IFRS 15 and related principles to build scalable contract review and revenue recognition processes Your management role involves collaborating with various teams including product management legal FP&A sales operations and commercial business systems to ensure accurate and automated accounting practices You will focus on enhancing the clarity correctness and speed of reporting as part of a growing global tech company Your responsibilities will include overseeing complex NetSuite configurations implementing best practices for data governance and driving revenue lifecycle automation Additionally you will mentor and develop a team of revenue accounting professionals to sustain high performance in reporting and compliance This position also requires a leader with a passion for technology capable of effectively communicating and interfacing with technical teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards Your insights will play a critical role in positioning Canonical at the forefront of the open source software industry while building a transparent and efficient accounting framework.
