Redefine the Linux experience in embedded environments with a focus on creating the smallest most secure updatable operating system in the IoT market In this role as a senior software engineer you will leverage your passion for open source software Linux security and developer experience Working with various CPU architectures including ARM RISC-V and X86 you will design and implement software for boot mechanisms system daemons services and userspace applications Additionally you will collaborate with a distributed team to write high quality code and maintain gadget snaps while integrating diverse bootloaders Your mission will be to deliver robust solutions for IoT automotive and aviation sectors and to enable device manufacturers to simplify operations with reliable device recovery mechanisms This position offers the unique chance to work at Canonical a growing international software company dedicated to enhancing technology globally.
