Job Description

In this role at Canonical you will be focused on developing tools and technology for building and maintaining a new generation of Ubuntu-based container images which are aimed at simplifying open-source application deployment worldwide. This position requires collaboration with multiple teams both within and outside the organization to deliver high-quality container images while ensuring a seamless user experience. You'll be heavily involved in implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery automation related to these container images while demonstrating deep insights into container-based DevOps. As part of this role you will also contribute to innovative products like OCI images and Chisel having the opportunity to steer a new team. Your responsibilities span from writing tools for assessing security compliance to engaging with the open-source community as a subject-matter expert. Additionally you will embody a mentorship role within the team supporting junior members and leading engineering discussions to uphold best practices.
