Job Description

As an Ubuntu Enablement Engineer at Canonical you will leverage your Linux and hardware expertise to collaborate with major OEMs ODMs and silicon partnershipsto enhance the user experience of Ubuntu on diverse hardware such as Robotics Automotive SmartNIC Medical devices and Industry gateways. Your contributions will impact millions as you ensure Ubuntu operates seamlessly on cutting-edge technologies. The role demands exceptional time management insightful debugging and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering software and system engineering services coordinating with partners on platform implementation and liaising with project managers and engineers to resolve critical issues. Through root cause analysis and bug patching you will play a key role in enhancing Ubuntu's reliability and performance on varied platforms. Your work may require occasional travel for onsite collaboration with global partners.
