The role of a Product Marketing Manager - IoT at Canonical involves developing marketing strategies and go-to-market plans for the IoT portfolio on a global scale. This dynamic role requires collaboration with various teams underscoring the importance of hands-on engagement and continual improvement. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology marketing and the ability to problem-solve creatively while executing effective campaigns. Responsibilities include leading content dissemination planning campaign development and creating compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences. Additionally the manager will conceive and execute marketing programs aimed at upselling and cross-selling to existing customers and work alongside demand generation teams to optimize marketing funnels. This position not only focuses on strategic thinking but also demands exceptional interpersonal skills in engaging with diverse teams. Ultimately this role is critical for driving traffic to content through data-driven insights and for overseeing the competitive landscape to ensure proper product positioning.
