The role of the search consultant at Canonical involves developing a strategic approach to talent sourcing for senior leadership positions with an emphasis on facilitating a smooth hiring workflow. You will coach senior stakeholders on effective headhunting techniques empowering them to expertly attract exceptional talent for their departments while generating valuable insights through talent analytics. Your expertise will ensure the hiring process is adapted to support consistency and efficiency across various teams as you build relationships with global stakeholders and monitor hiring progress. The role demands a strong commitment to improving the candidate experience reflecting our employer brand and striving for diversity and inclusion within the hiring framework. You will conduct in-depth behavioral interviews to assess candidates' motivations and abilities while working collaboratively with the Talent Science team to apply a data-driven methodology in selecting world-class talent from a diverse pool. This unique position is critical for shaping Canonical's hiring practices as we advance the open-source technological landscape.
