As a leader in Canonical's Organisational Development team you will have a significant role in shaping the management practices of a remote-first global company. Your mission will involve developing strategies that enhance organisational effectiveness and ensure consistency in management across diverse time zones and cultures. You'll lead a cross-disciplinary team composed of various experts while overseeing initiatives that enhance leadership capabilities within Canonical. Engaging in research and analytics is crucial for understanding the intricacies of remote work and improving team dynamics. Moreover you will create training programs and management curricula designed to cultivate high-performing teams. Your focus will also encompass fostering open communication and establishing performance metrics for leadership success ensuring that managers are well-equipped to maintain high standards.
