Job Description

At Canonical we are seeking talented sales professionals to expand our global sales team with a primary focus on selling enterprise software solutions in an open source environment. Successful candidates will leverage their understanding of customer needs and industry challenges to develop and maintain profitable commercial relationships with Global 500 enterprises and startups alike. This role demands a passion for technology and an ability to navigate the complexities of the open source landscape while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers and marketing. Candidates will be responsible for building and executing territory plans driving significant outreach and closing contracts to exceed bookings targets. They are expected to manage customer relationships through all stages of the sales cycle demonstrating professionalism and maintaining accurate pipeline data and forecasts. With a focus on continuous learning and collaboration candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering or computer science a track record of sales achievement and the ability to communicate effectively in English and other relevant languages.
