Job Description

As a Web Engineering Manager at Canonical you will lead a team of skilled engineers focusing on delivering reliable scalable and delightful user experiences for Canonical products. Your primary responsibility is to support and develop your team members ensuring they grow as web engineers and contribute valuable work. You will be involved in technical leadership leveraging your solid web development background to challenge and inspire your team. Collaborating with product managers and engineering teams you will influence the company culture and facilitate the delivery of technical solutions. Your role requires you to contribute to your team’s goals by demonstrating sound engineering principles estimating work setting goals and fostering a collaborative environment. You will be tasked with designing and implementing well-tested software primarily in web technologies or Flutter while also participating in code and architectural reviews. As a professional you will embody values such as self-motivation and interpersonal skills while maintaining an exceptional academic track record and being well-versed in modern web development practices.
