Job Description

As a leader at Canonical managing the Ubuntu Server team you will be responsible for software that safeguards access to all professional Ubuntu offerings across cloud and bare metal platforms. Your role involves overseeing continuous integration and verification processes across major releases of Ubuntu ensuring that the software remains highly reliable and up-to-date. You will fully own the product allowing you to steer its development while collaborating with various teams and partners to implement new features and enhancements. The ideal candidate is passionate about the open source ecosystem and the future of Ubuntu while being keenly aware of the needs of innovative customers. This position involves building and leading a distributed engineering team focusing on developing talent through coaching and mentoring while also engaging with other engineering teams and external stakeholders. By advocating for modern agile practices and fostering a collaborative work culture you will contribute significantly to the growth of the team and the success of Ubuntu Server.
