In this role you will manage a global team delivering cloud-init the standard for customizing cloud instances across various distributions and platforms This involves engaging with cloud providers and the open source community to enhance efficiency and address the needs of innovative customers You will take ownership of the product influencing its evolution while working collaboratively with teams to integrate new features and improvements Your responsibilities include building and leading a distributed team nurturing talent through coaching and mentoring collaborating with product management to define strategic vision and managing expectations with various stakeholders Advocating modern agile development practices is critical while fostering a healthy engineering culture aligned with company values This position offers the chance to shape the future of cloud-init in a supportive environment where your leadership can have a significant impact
