Job Description

As an Engineering Manager at Canonical you will lead a regional software engineering team to drive model-driven operations through innovative infrastructure-as-code solutions. Your role will involve close collaboration with the managed infrastructure operations team which runs private OpenStack clouds and Kubernetes clusters globally allowing for real-world insights into enhancing our infra-as-code products. You will primarily focus on Python software development ensuring that high-quality design documentation testing and performance standards are met. Your leadership will support the growth of your team members fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence. You will leverage your software development background to challenge your team while contributing code and managing project goals. Additionally advocating for modern agile practices is key as you navigate stakeholder communication and team coordination ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software. Your contributions will help shape an inclusive engineering culture aligning with company values while you engage actively with the leadership team guiding the team in a fully remote setting.
