Job Description

The Sales Director ISV Embedded Solutions at Canonical will collaborate with various teams to drive partnerships for licensing and embedding Ubuntu and Ubuntu Pro into software and SaaS solutions. This role involves prospecting ISV accounts to introduce Canonical’s offerings and help partners enhance their products using the company’s portfolio. The successful candidate will lead support and licensing sales with ISVs to meet or exceed targets and manage relationships at every stage of the sales process while deepening engagement with the open source ecosystem. They will identify partnerships that align with Canonical’s strategic goals and work with product management to ensure ISVs have the best solutions available to them. Additionally the role requires contract negotiations with ISV partners and shaping marketing messages for this audience. Ideal candidates should have a strong academic background a passion for technology extensive experience within the software industry and excellent interpersonal skills.
