Job Description

As a software engineer on the SnapD team you will work on mission-critical Golang code with a focus on software delivery containers security sandboxing telemetry and device management. You will enhance the next-generation software packaging and delivery for Linux ensuring that the system is safe secure and robust while aiming for application-specific confinement optimized for IoT devices desktops and servers. This role requires a strong emphasis on quality and performance in software solutions and a genuine interest in the software publishing and consumption experience. You should have a passion for open source software development and a collaborative mindset fostering peer reviews and maintainable code. A solid foundation in Golang and familiarity with Linux systems is necessary to succeed in overcoming challenges and achieving reliability even during unexpected disruptions. Overall you will be part of a team that values innovative ideas addressing complex problems and delivering high-quality code to enhance the Linux ecosystem.
